The Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Louisville School of Medicine offers a comprehensive training experience designed to prepare residents for a fulfilling career in pediatrics. Program Curriculum and Requirements

The residency program is structured to develop broad clinical expertise alongside specialty training. It is divided into three progressive training levels:

• Pediatric Level 1 (PGY-1): Residents gain foundational knowledge in inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, human growth, development, and essential clinical skills. Rotations primarily occur at Norton Children’s Hospital.

Residents are assigned one of three primary continuity clinic sites at the outset of their training, where they will see patients over their three years.
