Application Process

Applicants interested in the Internal Medicine Residency must submit their applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The deadline for application submission is December 15. Initial screening favors applicants who submit items such as a medical school Dean’s letter, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation, with a preference for first-attempt pass rates on USMLE Step 1 and 2.

Special Requirements

International medical graduates are welcomed into the program, requiring valid ECFMG certification or a full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate U.S. healthcare experience and meet board score requirements. Although there is no specific cut-off date for medical school graduation, candidates who graduated within the last five years are preferred, thereby ensuring the program attracts recent medical graduates.
