General Surgery Residency
The University of Washington Department of Surgery has an opening for a PGY-3 position in its General Surgery Residency Program effective June 25, 2025.
Prerequisites:
This spot is in our 7-year research track and candidates must be willing to complete 2 years of research following their PGY-3 year.

Interested candidates should submit the following as soon as possible for consideration:
- Letter of Intent/Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae including preferred email and cell phone contact information
- Three letters of recommendation (one from PD or Chair, 2 from faculty).
- List of completed rotations
- Rotation evaluations
- In-Service/ABSITE scores during training
- Defined Category Operative summary
- USMLE transcripts
- Citizenship or Visa Status
