Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship
The Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is a one-year, non-ACGME accredited program which offers advanced training in the interpretation of imaging studies of the chest, heart, and vascular system. The fellowship is designed to provide a comprehensive educational experience that includes exposure to the latest imaging technologies and techniques, as well as opportunities for research and scholarly activities.
We have been at the forefront of developing and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) tools for imaging analysis, with 4 active AI tools utilized for patient care on a day to day basis. We have collaborations with industry leaders in the development of these tools and have published extensively on the use of AI in medical imaging.
Prerequisites:
- Applicants must have completed an accredited residency program in diagnostic radiology and be board-certified or board-eligible.
- Applicants must be eligible for a medical license in Ohio and be able to obtain appropriate hospital credentialing. An alternate pathway to ABR certification is also supported on a case-to-case basis.
