Orthopaedic Trauma Research Fellowship
Dr. Arun Aneja is seeking a highly motivated, unmatched 4th-year medical student interested in a clinical research fellowship in orthopaedic trauma surgery. Dr. Aneja is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his PhD and is fellowship-trained in both orthopaedic trauma and oncology. His research interests span the gamut of orthopaedic trauma, with a specific focus on the inflammatory response to trauma and its role in patient outcomes and open fracture management.
Dr. Aneja encourages highly motivated individuals to apply and will provide one-on-one mentorship throughout the fellowship and orthopaedic surgery match process. Dr. Aneja meets with the team weekly to discuss research as well as books focused on human performance and emotional intelligence.
The research fellow will join Dr. Aneja’s current team of six fellows at Massachusetts General Hospital. This role involves close collaboration with Dr. Aneja and his team and offers opportunities to work alongside residents, fellows, research faculty, and clinical faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital. Fellows can expect to contribute to multiple publications and gain valuable experience to strengthen their application for the orthopaedic surgery match.

Open to any 4th-year U.S. medical student or graduate
