General Surgery Residency
The University of Central Florida/HCA Ocala General Surgery Residency Program is pleased to announce the availability of two additional PGY-3 positions. These openings have been granted by the ACGME in recognition of our program’s consistent excellence in resident education.

Extensive Clinical Experience: Graduates typically complete at least 1,200 operative cases, ensuring a broad and rigorous surgical training.

Hybrid Academic & Community Setting: Residents benefit from both dedicated teaching and research opportunities, as well as a wide range of clinical cases in a community-based environment.
Robotic Certification: All of our residents graduate with a certificate in robotic surgery.
How To apply:
- USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 scores
- ABSITE scores from the past two years
- A letter of recommendation from the current Program Director or Chair
- A personal statement
