Young Adult Mental Health Fellowship
There is a crisis in young adult mental health, with more and more young adults (ages 18y-26y) being diagnosed with behavioral health conditions. Simultaneously, mental health stigma is improving. Due to sociopolitical and financial restrictions, access to care is not expanding to meet the rising mental health needs of this population.
This one-year non-accredited fellowship provides participants with the opportunity to gain expertise in young adult mental health and emerge as a leader in this field. Fellows will have the opportunity to play a central role in developing effective approaches to preventative and ongoing care.
Prerequisites:
Candidates must be in their final year of residency or have completed a psychiatry residency in an ACGME-accredited program. They must have the ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio medical license.
