Preventive Cardiology Fellowship

The Preventive Cardiology Fellowship Program consists of opportunities in preventive cardiology (cholesterol management and athlete’s heart clinics). In the aggregate, 23 fellows have successfully completed the one year program.

The Preventive Cardiology Fellowship Program is designed as a one year commitment from July thru June.

Prerequisites:

Completion of the ACGME Internal Medicine Residency Program or completion of ACGME Cardiovascular Fellowship Program. Factors for acceptance include recommendations, reputation of the training institution, personal experience, and probability that the trainee will both contribute to and benefit from the program.

How To apply:

Applications can be sent from November 1 – deadline of December 31.

Applications for the one-year Preventive Cardiology Fellowship Program must be received by December 30. Applications must include:

  • Completed Application Form
  • Photo
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Copies of USMLEs (Step 1, Step 2 CS, Step 2 and Step 3 (required)
  • ECFMG (if applicable)
  • Dean’s Letter
  • Medical School Transcript
