Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
The University of South Florida OBGYN Residency Program is looking to fill a PGY2 categorical resident position for the 2025-26 academic year (specific start date TBD, likely early 2026).
Prerequisites:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must be in good academic and professional standing at an ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Categorical Residency Program, and they must have successfully completed a full PGY1 year of Categorical training in an Obstetrics and Gynecology Categorical Residency Program.

To apply, please submit the following documents in PDF format to the program administrator Quincy Yott (qyott@usf.edu) with the title “Open PGY2 Position” in the subject line. All documents should be sent in ONE merged PDF file if possible:
- USMLE Scores Step 1, 2 and 3 (if available)
- CREOG Exam Scores from PGY1 year
- Previous ERAS application
- Cover letter to include reason for departure from current program
- Letter of good standing from your Program Director
- Must also include a list of completed rotations to date
- Most recent Milestone Evaluations from current program for 2024-2025 academic year
- A letter of recommendation from a current supervising faculty member
- Current CV
- Copy of Medical School Diploma
- ECFMG Certificate (Foreign graduates only)
- Up to date ACGME Procedure Logs from current program
- Current work authorization i.e. Citizen, permanent resident, work permit, or visa
Residents should send all required documentation as soon as possible, as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Individuals selected for a virtual interview will be notified via e-mail.
