Body Imaging Fellowship

Jackson Memorial Hospital offers a one-year body imaging fellowship funded by the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Miami. The fellowship includes both disease-based and modality-based training and provides a wealth of experience in body computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as ultrasound, with elective time.

This training program will expose fellows to the most challenging pathology, as well as the opportunity to work in one of the largest transplant centers in South Florida and second largest in the nation – the Miami Transplant Institute (a joint program between Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine).

Prerequisites:

Medical Licensing Examination:

All applicants must successfully complete Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge and Step 2 Clinical Skills of the United States Medical Licensing Examination prior to acceptance into the program. Applicants must be eligible for Step 3. Foreign medical graduates are required to have the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certification.

Postgraduate Training:

There is postgraduate training required in the form of a successfully completed residency program in diagnostic radiology.
