Abdomen – Body Imaging Fellowship
Thank you for your interest in the Abdomen/Body Imaging Fellowship program. Our goal is to train confident, well rounded abdominal imagers who are well prepared for careers in academic or private practice radiology. Fellows are exposed to the breadth of pathology in abdominal imaging across all modalities including CT/MR, US, Fluoroscopy, and PET imaging. There is flexibility in the schedule to allow for more time on specific modalities based on the interests of the individual, i.e. oncologic imaging, CEUS, etc.
Fellows participate in multidisciplinary conferences which include Hepatobiliary, GI oncology, GU oncology, GYN oncology, and Lymphoma tumor boards. Fellows also participate in resident education and one academic day per week is provided to allow for research or quality improvement endeavors. The fellowship allows for up to four weeks of elective time and numerous moonlighting opportunities are available across the URMC network.
Prerequisites:
To be considered for entry into one of our fellowship programs, candidates should have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program in the United States or an RCPSC-accredited or CFPC-accredited residency program in Canada,
