Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellowship
Our program includes 6 adult and 2 pediatric gastroenterologists, an IBD-specialized nurse practitioner, three colorectal surgeons, a colorectal PA, a psychologist, a dietician, a pharmacist, 2 dedicated clinical nurses, and IBD research coordinators. We provide state-of-the-art care for our patients and cutting-edge clinical research to improve the quality of life for our patients.
Our Advanced IBD Fellowship is a one-year training program that develops expertise in high-quality, multi-disciplinary care of complex patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We are committed to tailoring the curriculum to each fellow’s interest. There are ample learning opportunities in advanced IBD care from outpatient specialty clinics to endoscopic procedures specific to IBD and scholarship opportunities ranging from outcomes and clinical research to quality improvement and medical education.
Prerequisites:
Please note that at this time, due to restricted funding, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must demonstrate U.S. citizenship or the equivalent (naturalized citizen, employment authorization document [EAD], or green card).

- Official copies of all postgraduate transcripts
- U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) scores for Steps 1, 2, and 3
- Valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate, if you graduated from a medical school outside the United States
- Residency completion certificate

- Three letters of reference, including one from your gastroenterology fellowship program director
