Body Imaging and Intervention Fellowship

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Brown University offers a one-year Fellowship in Body Imaging and Intervention covering all aspects of body imaging including state of the art MRI, CT scan and US, as well as image-guided interventional procedures. The goal of the fellowship training is to prepare radiologists for successful careers in both academic and private practices.

Educational time will be spent at Rhode Island Hospital, the major teaching affiliate of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where the fellow will have the opportunity to actively participate in intra- and inter-departmental conferences, including body imaging morning rounds, journal clubs, and multi-disciplinary GI and GYN tumor boards. Call duties are limited to 10 weekends with no after hour or overnight call. The call is paid as a moonlighting shift giving the fellow the opportunity to make an additional $25,000-30,000 for the year.
