Cardiothoracic Surgical Residency-Categorical PGY-3 Position

The Yale Division of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery is seeking to fill a categorical PGY-3 position beginning in June 2025. Anticipated graduation is based on the applicant’s current operative case log and successful completion of program requirements. We seek to train future leaders in academic surgery, with a focus on developing surgeon-scientists, surgeon-educators, and public policy leaders.

Prerequisites:

  • Applicants should be no more than three (3) years out of surgical training.
  • Successful completion of PGY-1 and PGY-2 years in an ACGME-accredited General Surgery program is required, with documentation of good standing.
  • U.S. clinical General Surgery training in an ACGME-accredited program is necessary.
