Family Medicine Residency
McLaren Northern Michigan is pleased to announce a PGY-1 residency position within its newly ACGME-approved Tribal Health Track of the Family Medicine Residency Rural Training Program. This unique opportunity may be of particular interest to candidates who did not secure a residency position through the recent National Resident Matching Program.
The program commences on July 1, 2025, with orientation beginning on June 20, 2025. The curriculum is structured over three years, with the first year (PGY-1) taking place in Flint, Michigan, and the subsequent two years (PGY-2 and PGY-3) in Petoskey, Michigan, in collaboration with the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians Tribe Health Center. We encourage eligible candidates to consider this newly accredited training pathway.
