General Surgery Residency
The General Surgery Residency Program at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is accepting applications for a PGY-4 categorical position to begin on July 1, 2025. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic academic surgery program and continue your training in a supportive, high-volume environment.
As a Level 1 Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients, our institution offers a high-acuity, academically rigorous environment for advanced surgical training. Residents gain experience in a wide range of surgical subspecialties across 35 operating rooms, including 7 Da Vinci robotic systems. Our program features multiple academic surgical services and access to an ACS-accredited Simulation Center, supporting both technical and non-technical skills development.
