General Surgery Residency
The General Surgery Residency Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai- NY is looking to fill a PGY-2 preliminary resident position to start duties on July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Prerequisites:
All applicants must be current PGY-1 surgery resident in good standing in an ACGME-accredited residency in General Surgery.

All interested applicants should submit the following documents:
- Current CV
- Medical school diploma
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE Transcript (a first-time pass on all three exams is required)
- Defined Category Case Log Report
- 3 current letters of recommendation, 1 from current Program Director (can be sent as separate files)
- ABSITE Score Reports
- ACLS, BLS, ATLS, FLS and FES certifications (if applicable)
- ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
