General Surgery Residency
The General Surgery Residency Program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City has one PGY-4 categorical position to begin on June 29, 2026.
Our program is a trauma heavy, robotic heavy training center. You will rotate through four hospitals on general surgery, vascular, hepatobiliary, minimally invasive/surgical oncology, colorectal, thoracic and endoscopy. Rotations may be modified based on your current case logs and needs.
Prerequisites:
The qualified candidate must have successfully completed 3 years of surgical residency from an ACGME accredited program by June 28, 2026. Training must have occurred at no more than two programs.
