General Surgery Residency – Categorical Position
One Brooklyn Health Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center has a PGY-3 categorical position available to start June 30, 2025.
Prerequisites:
Applicants must have completed two years of ACGME-accredited surgical residency training in good standing by June 30, 2025.

Interested candidates must submit the following required documents:
- Current CV
- Personal statement
- Two letters of recommendations including one from current Program Director
- USMLE 1,2,3 scores
- Milestones reports from PGY 1, and PGY 2
- ACGME Operative Log – Log Activity, Case Brief, and Defined Category Report
- ABSITE Score Report for each Post Graduate Year
- ATLS certification
- FES and FLS certification (if completed)
- Rotation schedule (including plan for Endoscopy Rotation if Endoscopy cases are not complete on case log)
