Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship

The University of Miami/Jackson Health System offers a one-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship in Genitourinary Pathology. This program is designed to provide advanced, subspecialty training through a comprehensive curriculum and exposure to a high volume of diverse case material.

The mission of the Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship is to provide advanced, in-depth training that equips pathologists with the comprehensive knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment required to excel as expert consultants in the field. Our program is dedicated to cultivating the competencies necessary for a successful career in academic or private practice settings.

Prerequisites:

Medical Licensing Examination:

All applicants must successfully complete United States Medical Licensing Examination Steps 1, 2 and 3 prior to the start of the program.

Postgraduate Training:

Candidates must be MDs or DOs who have completed at least two years of residency training in pathology in an ACGME-accredited program. Candidates must be board-eligible or certified in anatomic pathology and licensed in Florida or eligible for Florida medical licensure.
