Hospital Neurology Fellowship
The Cleveland Clinic Hospital Neurology Fellowship is a one-year program accredited by the Neurohospitalist Society (NHS). Our mission is to train expert neurohospitalists through rigorous clinical experience, innovative research, and compassionate care.
The program prepares fellows to:
- Manage complex neurological conditions
- Lead quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to academic medicine
- Thrive in diverse healthcare environments
Fellows rotate across main campus and regional hospitals in settings including acute stroke, epilepsy, neurocritical care, neuroinfectious disease, and teleneurology. With a focus on semi-independent practice and interdisciplinary collaboration, fellows receive protected education time, mentorship, and elective opportunities to customize their training. The program also emphasizes wellness and professional growth to develop well-rounded physician leaders.
Prerequisites:
Applicants must have completed a residency program and be able to get an Ohio medical license.

- Three letters of recommendation, including one from your residency or program director
- USMLE/COMLEX Score Reports
- Residency Diploma
- Medical School Diploma
- Certified copy of current valid ECFMG certificate (applicable for International Medical Graduates only).
International Medical Graduates must hold a current, valid ECFMG certificate at the time of application.
