Integrated Vascular Surgical Residency

The Penn State Integrated Vascular Surgical Residency program has a newly approved Categorical PGY-2 position available starting in July 2025, due to program expansion and ACGME approval.

The Penn State Division of Vascular Surgery is seeking to fill one (1) categorical PGY-2 positions beginning July 2025. The anticipated graduation date for candidates selected will depend on the applicant’s current operative case log and successful completion of all residency requirements.

We aim to train future leaders in academic surgery, especially surgeon-scientists, surgeon-educators, and public policy leaders.

Prerequisites:

  • Applicants should be no more than two (2) years out of surgical training.
  • Completion of a PGY-1 year in an ACGME-accredited General Surgery training program is required, with documentation of good standing.
  • U.S. clinical General Surgery training through an ACGME-accredited program is necessary.
