Medical Physics Residency in Radiation Oncology
The Department of Radiation Oncology and Applied Sciences is excited to have initiated our Medical Physics residency program, with accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) 2024. We accept applications for 1 resident position to begin each July.
The department encompasses a top-caliber faculty who employ state-of-the-art technologies to treat more than 1,000 patients annually, both at our primary site on the Lebanon campus and its satellite facility in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Our department prides itself on setting the pace for cancer care in northern New England.

Applications will be accepted through December 31st but may be considered off cycle.
Application requirements
- A completed application with photograph, a graduate school transcript, at least 3 letters of recommendation, and a personal statement should be submitted to the program director.
- A letter from the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) graduate program director verifying completion of an accredited graduate program or certificate program must be included.
- Admission to the residency program requires a CAMPEP accredited PhD or post graduate certificate. The candidate must have achieved a graduate GPA of 3.6 or higher to be considered for residency at Dartmouth.
