Nuclear Oncology Fellowship
We offer a 1-year non-accredited program that will expose you to a broad range of clinical problems in diagnostic imaging and nuclear therapy/theranostics.

Prerequisites:
Candidates must have completed a nuclear medicine residency. Although board certification/board eligibility by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine is preferred, diagnostic radiologists with experience in cross-sectional imaging may be considered.
All applicants should compelte USMLE steps 1, 2 and 3. Ability to obtain a resident medical license in the State of Iowa: https://dial.iowa.gov/licenses/medical/physician#eligibility.

To apply for the Nuclear Oncology Fellowship, applicants must email the following documents to courtney-bork@uiowa.edu:
- Completed UI Health Care application that can be e-mailed, mailed, or faxed
- Curriculum vitae
- Statement of purpose: Summary of your training background, areas of strengths and interests, and a brief description of how you would hope to utilize and apply your fellowship training
- Three letters of recommendation: letters should come from those persons familiar with your recent training and current professional activities. Please instruct reference individuals to email their letters of recommendation directly to the program coordinator at courtney-bork@uiowa.edu.
- Copy of your ECFMG certificate. For non-residents: We sponsor J-1 and H1-B visas, please mention which you plan to pursue and if you are requesting a 4-year ABR alternate pathway. - Copies of USMLE steps 1, 2, and 3 transcripts
