Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
Summerville Medical Center/HCA has an available PGY-2 OBGYN residency position starting July 1, 2025, located in Charleston, South Carolina.
Prerequisites:
Interested candidates must have successfully completed one year of training in good standing at a fully accredited ACGME Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program, by June 2025, and have completed the USMLE Step 3 or planning to take the exam by December 2025.

- Copy of ERAS application with Dean’s Letter
- MSPE
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE Scores Step 1, 2 CS/CK, or COMLEX 1 and 2 and Step 3 or COMLEX 3
- Current CV
- Medical School Diploma / and Cover Letter explaining reason for leaving current program.
We will subsequently require current ACGME case log report through June 2025, and 3 letters of recommendation (one letter of recommendation must be from your current Program Director which should include verification that you are a PGY 1 in good standing, and are expected to satisfactorily complete your training by June 30, 2025, list of completed rotations including dates, and rotation specific evaluations and CREOG Scores once available.
The other two letters of recommendation must be from attending physicians at your current program). Only qualified applicants will be considered.
