Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, is seeking to fill a categorical PGY-3 resident position for the 2024-2025 academic year. The anticipated start date is approximately July 1, though off-cycle timing will be considered as needed.

Prerequisites:

Qualified applicants must be in good standing and currently enrolled in an ACGME fully accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program with anticipated successful completion of the PGY-2 year of training by June 30, 2024.

The applicant must also provide a verification Program Director letter of support verifying you are in good standing. Candidates should submit at least two current letters of recommendation as well as have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 CK, CS or comparable COMLEX Steps.

  • Current CV
  • Your entire ERAS application (Transcripts, USMLE Step 1, 2, & 3 scores, LORs, Personal Statement, MSPE and Common Application Form)
  • CREOG scores for PGY1 and PGY2 year
  • Up to date ACGME Case Logs
  • A letter from your Program Director that includes the following:
  • Verification of all your rotations completed to date
  • Statement of your standing in the program
  • Summative competency-based performance evaluation
  • Willingness to release you from your current training contract
  • Most recent ACGME Milestone evaluation
  • Two letters of recommendation from attending physicians in your current program
