Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program is currently accepting applications for a PGY-3 categorical resident position for the 2025–2026 academic year. The anticipated start date will be determined based on the selected candidate’s availability.
Prerequisites:
Applicants must:
- Be in good academic and professional standing at an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Have successfully completed two years (24 months) of postgraduate training in an ACGME-accredited categorical OB/GYN residency program by the start date

- Cover letter including:
- Reason for seeking transfer
- Explanation for departure from current program
- Why you are interested in joining our program
- Current CV
- Complete ERAS application (including personal statement, USMLE/COMLEX scores, and MSPE)
- USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 3 and/or COMLEX Level 1, 2, and 3 report
- CREOG score reports for PGY-1 and PGY-2 years
- Letter of Good Standing from current Program Director
- Statement from Program Director confirming willingness to release you from your current training contract
- List of completed rotations to date (on official letterhead)
- Most recent milestone evaluations (2024–2025 academic year)
- Most recent summative or end-of-year evaluation
- At least one letter of recommendation from a current supervising faculty member (not the Program Director)
- Copy of medical school diploma
- Up-to-date ACGME case/procedure logs
- Current work authorization status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, visa holder, etc.)
- ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
