Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
The SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program is seeking to fill a PGY2 categorical residents’ position for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Prerequisites:
To be considered for his position, applicants must be in good academic and professional standing at an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Categorical Residency Program and must have completed one year (12 months) of training. Only completed applications that meet the criteria below will be considered.
Please note: we are only considering applications for those who are currently in residency training at this time.

Please submit all applications and inquiries with the title “PGY2 2025-2026 Applicant” via email to Devareco Wilkie, MSc, Program Manager at Devareco.wilkie@downstate.edu. All applications must include the following;
- USMLE Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3 scores (if available)
- CREOG score report from PGY-1 year
- A copy of your previous ResidencyCAS/ERAS application
- Cover letter, including reason for seeking transfer
- Letter of good standing from your current Program Director
- List of completed rotations to date
- Most recent Milestone evaluations (2024–2025 academic year)
- Letter of recommendation from a current supervising faculty member
- Current curriculum vitae (CV)
- Copy of medical school diploma
- ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
- Up-to-date ACGME procedure logs
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Summative competency-based performance evaluation
