Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
The ACGME-accredited Obstetrics-Gynecology Residency at UMass Chan-Baystate offers you a rigorous education in a genuinely caring environment. We accept six residents per year.
The mission of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at UMass Chan Medical School – Baystate is to provide outstanding postgraduate education in an academic setting that is supportive and friendly. The care that we train our residents to provide plays an essential role in the health and quality of life of the individuals in the diverse communities which we serve.
We have a strong commitment to training our residents to be well-rounded and effective leaders, knowledgeable clinicians, skilled surgeons and excellent teachers. Our intent is to help every resident in our program reach their personal goals, whether it be as a generalist in the field in an academic or community setting, in research, or in a subspecialty fellowship program.
Prerequisites:
Baystate Medical Center accepts only J1 Clinical Visas, and we require one full year of hands-on clinical experience in the U.S. for international applicants.
