Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai / Mount Sinai Hospital is currently seeking applicants for a PGY-3 (Post-Graduate Year 3) position. This position is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must be currently enrolled at an ACGME accredited program as a PGY-2 and due to complete the academic year in good standing. All applicants must have passed USMLE Step 1, 2 and 3.

How To apply:

Interested candidates should submit the following materials:

  1. Cover letter that includes reason for leaving current program, and what unique qualities you will bring to our program
  2. ERAS application including personal statement, MSPE, and transcript
  3. Current CV
  4. Copy of Medical School Diploma
  5. USMLE Step 1, 2, 3
  6. Rotation Schedules from PGY1 and PGY2
  7. Milestones for PGY1 and PGY2
  8. ACGME Case Reports
    1. Case Minimum Report
    2. Experience by Role Report
  9. CREOG scores from PGY-1 and PGY-2
  10. A letter from your Program Director verifying:
    1. Verification of all rotations completed to date
    2. Statement of your standing in the program
    3. Summative competency-based performance evaluation
    4. Willingness to release you from your current training program
  11. Two additional letters of recommendations from faculty who have worked with you during your first two years of training
