Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking to fill a PGY-2 categorical resident position for a July 1, 2026 start date.

Prerequisites:

To be considered for the position, applicants must be currently enrolled in their PGY-1 year of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training in good academic standing at an ACGME-accredited program and on-track to successfully complete their first year June 30, 2026.

To apply, please submit the following initial materials:

  • A copy of your complete CAS application (including Personal Statement, USMLE and MSPE) from the 2025 or 2026/current match
  • Current Program Director Letter of Recommendation/Assessment, including statement of good standing in the program, and support to leave the program(acceptable if included in CAS 2026/current application).
  • Letter of Recommendation from a current faculty member from your PGY-1 year of residency (acceptable if included in CAS 2026/current application).
  • Up to date case log report for the PGY-1 year up to current date
  • Rotation schedule for the PGY-1 year
