Ochsner-Andrews Sports Medicine Institute is Now Accepting Applications for 2025-2026 Sports Medicine Research Fellow
We’re excited to extend this invitation to medical school graduates who are eager to immerse themselves in a one-year salaried clinical research fellowship at Ochsner-Andrews Sports Medicine Institute in Baton Rouge, LA.
The research fellowship program is designed to provide candidates with invaluable experience in Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine research while enhancing their competitiveness for residency applications. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, sports physical therapists, athletic trainers, and strength and conditioning experts on cutting edge clinical research projects.
We’re seeking candidates with a strong passion for orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine, a demonstrated interest in research, a good academic record, and preferably, prior research experience. You will have strong support from our research infrastructure including clinical research coordinators, research data coordinators, a streamlined IRB process, a unified electronic medical record and integrated patient reported outcomes captured for all ortho and sports medicine patients.
Prerequisites:
1 MD/DO recent graduate, 3rd/4th year medical student, or unmatched applicant
