Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship
The University of Illinois at Chicago announces an opening for a Year 1 Pediatric Endocrinology Fellow. This is a three-year fellowship program. The application will remain open until the position is filled.
We are Chicago’s newest pediatric endocrinology fellowship program, started in the fall of 2014. We are a comprehensive three-year training program, fully accredited by the ACGME. The University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System is at the epicenter of many of the changes our healthcare system is undergoing, creating exciting and unique training opportunities. Our mission is to provide the knowledge, skills and attributes that will allow fellows to become excellent and competent pediatric endocrinologists.

Prerequisites:
- Applicants for the endocrinology fellowship must have satisfactorily completed residency training in pediatric in an ACGME approved program.
- Applicants who have graduated from a foreign medical school must have a valid, unexpired ECFMG certificate to enter a program in Graduate Medical Education.
*For interested foreign applicants, the only visa we accept is J-1 visa.
Applicants are selected on the basis of commitment to advancing pediatric endocrinology, a history of demonstrated skill in interpersonal communication during residency, medical knowledge as reflected in residency evaluations and test scores, and prior history of scholarship and advocacy.
