Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship

The Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore has unfilled slots.

Our Children’s Hospital has 136 beds plus a large neonatal ICU and is located in the North-West of the Bronx.

We are the largest Program in NY with a longstanding history of training the current leaders in the field, including George Schwartz of the Schwartz formula for GFR calculation! We currently have 8 faculty and 4 fellows in our division. We also have two social workers, a renal nutritionist, a clinical psychologist, a transplant coordinator, two pediatric dialysis nurses and a divisional nurse who all support our fellows and faculty.

We sponsor both J-1 visas and support existing H-1B visa extensions. Our fellows get to go to conferences, and all our past graduates were able to secure top positions with excellent pay.
