Pediatric Radiology Fellowship

A proud member of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), Children’s Hospital of Michigan established in 1886, is the first and largest freestanding hospital in the state completely dedicated to serving children. This 228-bed facility has an international reputation in pediatric medicine, surgery and research, training more pediatricians than any other facility in Michigan. The Pediatric Radiology department is centered at the Detroit Medical Center main campus in the heart of Detroit’s Midtown District. The department is responsible for the interpretation of pediatric imaging studies from all Children’s Hospital of Michigan satellite institutions as a well as from the other DMC hospitals. Imaging modalities include Ultrasound, X-ray, Computer tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology covering all organ systems in the pediatric patient.

The Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University Pediatric Radiology Fellowship in the Department of Pediatric Imaging at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, is a 1-year ACGME accredited program with 3 funded positions that are designed to prepare the trainees both for the ABR CAQ in Pediatric Radiology and a successful career in pediatric imaging.
