Pediatric Residency
The Stony Brook Children’s Pediatric Residency Program on Long Island, New York is currently accepting applications for a PGY-2 position starting July 1, 2025.
This position will fill a recent opening in the program. Our residency program boasts a strong academic foundation, dedicated faculty, and enthusiastic residents. We offer exciting research opportunities, diverse patient population, and a wide variety of pathologies in a supportive and challenging environment.
Prerequisites:
Applicants should be in good standing in an ACGME accredited program and have permission of their current Program Director to interview.

- A letter of interest, which includes your reason for requesting transfer
- Curriculum vitae
- Three letters of recommendations
- USMLE Steps I and II CK; Step III if taken
- Medical School Performance evaluation (Dean’s letter)
- Name and contact information for your program director
- Valid ECFMG Certificate, if applicable
(Please note the only visa we support is a J-1 visa)
