Pediatric Residency

Richmond University Medical Center’s ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program is currently accepting applications for two openings at the PGY-2 and PGY-3 levels, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.

Our residency program provides comprehensive, hands-on training across the full spectrum of pediatric medicine.  Residents benefit from robust clinical exposure, supportive faculty mentorship, and an emphasis on both academic and professional development. We take pride in preparing our trainees to become well-rounded, competent pediatricians–many of whom go on to match into highly competitive subspecialty fellowships.

A unique feature of our curriculum is a dedicated pediatric advocacy track, integrated within our Patient-Centered Medical home model, which reflects the diversity and needs of our community.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must have successfully completed one or two years of pediatric residency training in an ACGME-accredited program and must be either US citizens or permanent residents.  Strong academic standing and a commitment to excellence in pediatrics are expected.
