Pediatric Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship
The Division of Pediatric Interventional Radiology offers a one-year fellowship program in vascular and interventional radiology.
The pediatric interventional radiology fellow will be exposed to a wide-spectrum of vascular and nonvascular interventions as they apply to children: the use of appropriate pediatric patient care, vascular and organ interventional techniques using appropriately sized devices, and the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of pediatric conditions. Among the interventions commonly performed are management of vascular anomalies (embolization, sclerotherapy and laser ablation), tissue biopsy, drainage, enteric and venous accesses, neurovascular angiography and interventions, radiofrequency and cryo-ablation, and biliary and GU interventions.
Prerequisites:
Candidates must be certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology or its equivalent, and have completed a prior fellowship in either pediatric or interventional radiology.
