PGY-4 General Surgery Residency

How To apply:

Please submit the documents below in ONE application packet, via e-mail, to njms_gensurgres@njms.rutgers.edu:

1. Current CV
2. Personal Statement
3. USMLE Score Reports (Steps 1, 2, 3) – All Steps must be passed on the first attempt
4. ABSITE Score Reports
5. Three Current Letters of Recommendation – including 1 from current/most recent Residency Program Director
6. Summative Competency-based evaluation completed by current/most recent Program Director
7. ACGME Milestone Evaluation(s) for current and previous academic years
8. Copy of Medical School Diploma
9. ECFMG certificate if applicable
10. Current Defined Category Case Log Report
11. Only J-1 visas accepted, no exceptions
