Longitudinal Curriculum

The curriculum includes longitudinal components in Behavioral Medicine, Practice Management, Lifestyle Medicine, and Medicine & Society, ensuring a well-rounded education that integrates different aspects of family medicine. Inpatient and Outpatient Rotations

Residents complete their intern inpatient experience at AdventHealth Orlando, one of the largest hospitals in Florida, housing 1,300 beds. Senior inpatient rotations take place at AdventHealth Winter Park, which is a 300-bed community hospital that treats about 15,000 patients each year.

For outpatient training, residents work at the AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Winter Park, where the average time spent in the office increases progressively from PGY-1 to PGY-3 (one half-day in PGY-1 to four half-days in PGY-3). Additionally, seniors are expected to perform monthly nursing home visits at two facilities.
