North Colorado Family Medicine Residency Program Overview

The North Colorado Family Medicine Residency Program provides outstanding training for physicians aspiring to practice full-spectrum family medicine across various settings.   • Rural Training Program – Sterling: Residents start in Greeley and complete training in Sterling, with additional stipends.

Application Process and Requirements

The program has specific criteria for applicants aimed at ensuring a high caliber of trainees:

  • Must apply through ERAS before the designated deadline.
  • Three letters of recommendation, including one from the residency program director if applicable.
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) and transcript are necessary.
  • Minimum passing scores for USMLE Step 1 (210) or COMLEX (515).
  • International medical graduates are required to have completed two years of residency training prior to application.

It is essential to note that the program does not currently offer visa sponsorship for international applicants.
