Application Requirements

The application process for the Psychiatry Residency Program is competitive. Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized medical school
• No more than two attempts on the USMLE Step 1 and 2, and a passing score
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable, considering the program’s focus on Puerto Rican mental health

International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and osteopathic candidates (DOs) are welcomed and supported throughout the application process.
